Let’s start by saying that we are massive fans of BeWILderwood – the concept, the setting, the experience itself… Simply put, it is a unique day out that really is the stuff of the most fantastical childhood dreams.
BeWILDerwood is an award winning, enchanting and adventurous world where you can let your imagination run wild. With treehouses, zip wires, slippery slides and mystifying mazes, BeWILDerwood brings a curious difference to the meaning of days out in Norfolk.
Home to creatures that include the Boggles, Twiggles and Mildred the lisping vegetarian Crocklebog, BeWILDerwood gives everyone a chance to experience the entrancing setting of the children’s book, “A Boggle at BeWILDerwood.”
Spend a day out with the family, exploring and engaging in the wild Norfolk landscape. Building dens with bracken and sticks, taking lazy boat rides across Scaaaary Lake, dressing up and joining in with the enchanting daily story telling; crossing bridges through the trees, whizzing down Wobbly Wires and getting befuddled in the stupendous Sky Maze (new this year!).
Truly a charming landscape that offers fun for all generations, BeWILDerwood brings to life the stories of Tom Blofeld in a quietly telling, yet unassuming way; leaving ample time and space for young people to realise their very own make believe, while allowing adults to become big kids for the day.
BeWILDerwood offers lovingly-made, locally-sourced food and drinks. Whether you fancy a BeWILD Banger, the Boggle Banger hot-pot (Swampy’s favourite sausage stew) or a selection of scrummy savoury pastries and handmade sandwiches there is a great selection of yummy Bogglish treats to keep even the hungriest mouths satisfied.
A visit to BeWILDerwood means it is time for fun, exploring, playing, sharing adventures and giggles! Lots of special events run throughout the season so check out the website for more details.
