The Cellar House in Eaton has been included in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for the first time in it’s 2018 version.
Entries are nominated and voted for by CAMRA members, and the best-selling guide is generally considered to be the UK’s definitive directory to the best real ale pubs in the UK.
The Eaton local holds two beer festivals a year (‘Ale In The Vale’ and ‘H’Ale’oween’) as well as participating in Norwich’s City of Ale festival. You’ll always find 6 regularly-changing real ales on the bar (with an emphasis on local breweries), alongside bottled beers and premium lagers.
This honour comes straight off the back of two nominations in the recent EDP Norfolk Food & Drink Awards, in which The Cellar House was a Finalist in the categories for ‘Best Pub’ and ‘Best Family Dining’. The Cellar House was also a National Finalist in the ‘Best Community Pub’ category in the Great British Pub Awards 2017.
Owner Victoria MacDonald said “We’re very proud to have the Cellar House in the Good Beer Guide for 2018. A big thank you to CAMRA members who visited and voted for us.”
