From this weekend Christmas trees will start to be decorated and this year people in Norfolk are being encouraged to hang an extra special bauble, to help raise money for a fantastic local cause, and trim up just like royalty.
On sale now from intu Chapelfield’s information desk and online with EACH, the decorations are £15 each, with all proceeds going straight to the nook appeal; a £10 million campaign to build a new hospice just five miles south of Norwich, in Framingham Earl, and transform children’s palliative care.
First on sale last Christmas, the decorations are back again this year to raise thousands more for charity. As Sheridan Smith, intu Chapelfield’s Marketing Manager explains; “By adding some new festive sparkle to your home this year, you’re not only spreading goodwill by supporting a great cause, but your tree will also have something in common with royalty!”
“HRH the Duchess of Cambridge is the patron of EACH, and in recognition of this, we gifted Princess Charlotte and Prince George a butterfly bauble each last year, to hang on their family tree. When we received a letter of thanks from Kensington Palace, we were thrilled. And of course, we couldn’t leave Prince Louis out this year, so another decoration has been sent by special delivery, ahead of his very first Christmas.”
“The baubles come in a purple satin-lined keepsake box, and make a thoughtful gift for a loved one. We really hope people will back the campaign and spread some festive cheer by raising thousands for the nook appeal. We’d love to see these baubles appear in homes all over Norfolk, as well as at the royal residence!”
Each bauble contains a handmade, purple origami butterfly and sparkling gold lametta, and comes in a purple, satin-lined keepsake box. To support EACH and add some new festive sparkle to your home, buys yours from the Information Desk at intu Chapelfield or online at www.each.org.uk
Have a very merry Christmas!
