Ringing The Bell For Local Produce

Set in an idyllic rural location just outside Norwich, The Bell at Marlingford prides itself on making every customer feel like a local.

It’s clearly a destination that’s passionate about good eating and drinking. From a pint of Norfolk ale, to a bottle of English wine, they’ve got you covered. The newly renovated restaurant celebrates everything that our amazing county has to offer.

Sam Jarvis, Restaurant Manager tells us: “We love Norfolk and have some of the best produce in the world here, so we aim to celebrate that as best as we can. Working with some of the great producers around, such as Lakenham Creamery, Lacons Brewery and Strangers Coffee, to name a few, our aim is to get everything on your plate sourced from Norfolk.

We’re currently planting our own kitchen garden, which will be home to delicious seasonal vegetables and herbs. This will allow us to use these in all the dishes on our menu and create things truly local and very special. Each season will bring something new and exciting to our menu and we can’t wait to show off what we can do.

Along with many Norfolk folk, there’s a special place in our hearts for good beer. This is something we are championing here at The Bell, ensuring that we always have a fantastic range of local ales and lagers in our restaurant and cosy bar. We are proud to work with some multi award winning breweries, serving quality produce to our customers.”

You’ll find The Bell at Marlingford is equally passionate about gin. They pride themselves on being bang on trend, serving as many different kinds of gin as they can get our hands on! If it’s distilled in Norfolk, you can bet they’ve tried it and they will always have something different for you to try.

So, if local ales, English wine & Norfolk food sound like something you would enjoy, we highly recommend you pay them a visit!
