Snowdrops are the first flower to bloom at the end of Winter and beginning of Spring, and are supposed to be a symbol of hope.
You can start to spot them all over Norfolk at this time of year, and that’s why we’ve featured them on our Enjoying Norfolk Spring 2021 Virtual Challenge pin badge.
We wanted to offer a Norfolk-themed activity that anyone can complete, from anywhere, making it ideal for families (especially useful with Half Term coming up), or for people who can’t participate in the popular physical virtual events like running.
How Does It Work?
Upon signing up (entry is £10 per person), you’ll receive a downloadable pack with suggested challenge activities, ranging from quick and fairly easy things to do, to ones that will take more time. Ultimately, the more you put in, the more you’ll get out.
You choose to complete a minimum of 3 activities from our list of over 20 (or set one of your own, as long as there’s a Norfolk connection), by Sunday 11th April 2021.
Once completed, you can apply for your well-earned Enjoying Norfolk Spring 2021 enamel pin badge (pictured).
What Are The Aims?
As well as discovering a little more about Norfolk, supporting some local businesses and enjoying yourself while doing it, we hope our virtual challenge will provide a little lift from the monotony of lockdown. And it’s always nice to receive a little reward at the end of your efforts…
