The Old Ram Coaching Inn at Tivetshall St Mary, reopened in 2016 after acquisition by Victoria and Grahame MacDonald, who also own the multi award-winning Cellar House in Eaton, and the recently re-opened White Lodge in Attleborough.
Dating back to the 17th Century, the Inn is situated on the historic Norwich to Ipswich Road (also known as the A140), making it an ideal base from which to visit both Norfolk and Suffolk. It is perfectly placed for those who want to walk the historic Boudicca Way and explore the Waveney Valley.
The Old Ram is open for food 7 days a week, including breakfast, Sunday Lunch and at Christmas. Expect high quality, tasty dishes with a focus on the fresh, local and seasonal.
In November 2016, The Old Ram was delighted to receive the Cask Marque award – an accolade for pubs that serve high quality Cask Ale. As well as a regularly changing selection of beers, you’ll find a comprehensive Wine List, and even a Gin Menu.
The Old Ram has 11 cosy and characterful rooms, including a four-poster room and a rather special multi-level Family Room. Each room features free Wi-Fi, a 32″ flat screen TV & DVD player, hospitality tray and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The breakfast is noteworthy and more than adequate to set you up before a day of business, sightseeing or shopping.
Lots of free on-site parking avalable.
The Old Ram is dog friendly, and dogs may stay with owners in some rooms by prior arrangement.
