At OPEN in Norwich there are two live music venues under one roof.
The Club on Castle Meadow holds up to 300 standing and has hosted shows by the likes of Public Service Broadcasting, Mike Skinner (The Streets) and Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club. The other is the glorious Banking Hall on Bank Plain with a capacity of 1450 people standing, which has showcased acts such as London Grammar, Bellowhead and John Grant.
Used by both national and local promoters, the venue aims to give both customers and promoters the best possible experience from their proficient events team. OPEN are especially proud of the feedback they get from both artists and the audience on the quality of sound in the Club Room and the overall atmosphere that both rooms create.
OPEN’s musical policy is to cater for as many genres as possible whether it be jazz, hip hop, pop, folk, indie, rock or reggae.
