Ok, we appreciate the fact that it’s July, and the school summer holidays have JUST STARTED, but the way time is flying, it’ll be Panto season before we know it. Norwich Theatre have a cunning plan to make this year’s fun family tradition more purse-friendly.
Norwich Theatre is delighted to introduce Panto Payments, a new scheme enabling audiences to spread the cost of their panto tickets over three months.
Panto Payments is completely free to use and has no interest added.
Anyone making a purchase of £45 or more on Sleeping Beauty tickets can call the Box Office or visit the counter at Norwich Theatre Royal and choose to split the cost of their tickets.
You will need to make an initial payment of at least 1/3 of the cost but you can make a larger payment if you wish. On the 1st of each month (or the closest working day), Norwich Theatre’s Box Office team will call you and take another payment until all payments have been made. At this point, you will be sent your tickets.
Stephen Crocker, Chief Executive & Creative Director at Norwich Theatre said: “We understand that times are tough and so this is one of many measures to support financial wellbeing that we are introducing as a theatre. We are passionate that theatre should be accessible to everyone in the community. Pantomime is a tradition that is important to many families, and we don’t want anyone to miss out on the joy of a Norwich Theatre pantomime.”
This comes as part of a series of measures we are introducing to help the community continue to access theatre. Earlier this year, Norwich Theatre introduced MyTheatre, a new scheme offering £10 seats to all shows at Norwich Theatre Royal for those in the community on the lowest incomes. This is an important step in ensuring that all members of the community feel that theatre is accessible to them.
Norwich Theatre is constantly looking into new measures and schemes to support the wellbeing of our audience members, and we are also thrilled to announce today that we will now also be offering free or subsidised places to our range of Take Part activities as part of MyTheatre.
