Renovated and reopened in 2016 by the same owners as The Cellar House in Eaton and The Old Ram at Tivetshall St Mary, The White Lodge is a lovely, thatched country pub found just off the A11 Attleborough roundabout.
Open 7 days for food, and with two bars stocking a selection of local beers, The White Lodge is a great choice for drinking and dining, be it a weekday evening or a Sunday lunchtime.
There is a large outside space, including plenty of room for children to run around, as well as a climbing frame, making The White Lodge a good choice for families.
The food offering is tasty, above-average pub food, imaginatively put together and presented beautifully. The menus are packed with lovely, local produce and boosted by a frequently changing supply of Specials. Chef Shaun Kent is well-versed in Vegetarian cooking, so veggie diners are in for a treat. Many items on the menus can be adapted to be gluten-free.
The White Lodge holds regular live music events – watch out for beer festivals and theme nights in the future!
Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Plenty of parking available.
